Inlockly for youFeature · Import and migration
Import from browsers and password managers - 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, Dashlane, KeePass, and more. Inlockly recognizes the file, shows a preview, and flags duplicates before anything is saved.
Available on every plan, including Free.
See it in action
Pick a source - Inlockly shows you how to export your data from it and recognizes the file format on its own.
01 / How it works
A browser, another password manager, or an Inlockly backup. Every source comes with export instructions.
The format is recognized from the file's contents. The preview shows what's already in your vault and what has a different password - you decide what to import.
Private, family, or company. Imported items get a tag with their source, so they're easy to review later.
02 / Capabilities
Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and Opera, 1Password (including .1pux), Bitwarden, LastPass, Dashlane, RoboForm, and KeePass (including .kdbx).
"Already in vault" and "Different password" badges in the preview. You won't clutter your vault with copies of the same accounts.
Fields with no match in Inlockly go into the item's notes. Cards, identities, and secure notes come along too.
2FA keys from a password manager export go into your items. A separate wizard moves codes from Google Authenticator, Aegis, 2FAS, and Ente Auth.
When rolling out to your family or team, import directly into the shared vault - no moving items over one by one.
An .inlockly backup encrypted with a separate password, plus JSON and CSV - your data is never held hostage (Personal plan and up).
03 / Security
Export files from other tools usually aren't encrypted. Inlockly limits how long your passwords sit on disk in plain form.
The file is read and encrypted in the app. Only encrypted items reach the cloud.
After the import, Inlockly reminds you to delete the unencrypted export file from your disk.
Every export requires your master password, and an .inlockly backup requires a separate password of at least 12 characters.
