01 / How it works

Folder, people, permissions.

  1. Create a folder.

For example, Marketing, Accounting, or Client X. On the Team and Business plans, folders are unlimited.

  2. Add people or departments.

Assign team members - and on the Business plan, whole departments. Someone new in a department gets its folders right away.

  3. Set permissions.

From view-only to editing, sharing, and exporting - separately for each person or department.

02 / Capabilities

Organization that grows with your company.

  • Unlimited folders.

Split access by department, project, or client - as many folders as you need.

  • Access without seeing the password.

Turn off password viewing and copying - team members sign in with autofill, but they never see the password.

  • 13 permissions per folder.

View, add, edit, delete, copy, share, move, import, export, print, change history, password viewing, and folder management.

  • Change history with the author.

Every item has a version history: 90 days on the Team plan and 180 days on Business. Undo an accidental change with one click.

  • A private vault alongside.

Every member has their own vault with Personal plan features, kept separate from company data.

  • One account, many companies.

Work with several companies? See all their vaults after a single sign-in - each with its own key and its own permissions.

03 / Security

Shared doesn't mean less secure.

Company folders are encrypted with a separate key, and permissions are enforced by the server - no matter which app a team member uses.

  • The company key, for each person separately.

The company vault key reaches each member encrypted with their public key (RSA-OAEP). The server never sees it in plain form.

  • Permissions enforced by the server.

The server determines the company and folder from the operation itself. A modified app can't exceed the permissions it was granted.

  • Leaving without leftover copies.

When you remove someone from the team, their devices delete company data at the next sync. Their private vault stays theirs.

04 / Who it's for

For teams that work together.

For teams and businesses

From a 5-person team to an entire organization.

The Team plan covers 5 to 10 people; Business has no upper limit, adds departments, and includes a Family plan for every member.

05 / Good to know

Have questions?
Start here.

Can a team member see my private vault?

No. Your private vault is encrypted with your key and kept separate from company folders. Admins only see company data they have permissions for.

What happens when an employee leaves?

You remove them from the team, and their devices delete company data at the next sync. It's also a good idea to change the passwords for accounts they used - the activity history shows which folders they had access to.

Can I belong to more than one company?

Yes. One Inlockly account can be a member of multiple companies. You see their vaults next to your private one and switch between them without signing in again.

Can I move an item from my private vault to a company folder?

Yes. The item is re-encrypted with the company key and becomes visible to people with access to the folder.
