How we protect data
- End-to-end encryption and zero knowledge. You encrypt your vault on your own device. We don’t have the key, so we can’t read its contents, hand them over in readable form, or use them.
- Data minimization. We only process account data as needed to run the service, handle billing, and keep accounts secure.
- Servers in the European Union. We store account and vault data in the EU (Amazon Web Services, Frankfurt). Our Privacy Policy lists providers outside the EEA and the safeguards for those transfers.
- Your rights, built into the App. You can correct your account data in settings, export your vault at any time, and delete your account yourself.
- A data processing agreement for businesses. Organizations on the Team or Business plan enter into our Data Processing Agreement (Article 28 GDPR).
Details: Privacy Policy, Security Whitepaper.
