Switching to a new password manager doesn't mean retyping everything. Here's how to move your passwords - 2FA codes included - without leaving any copies behind.
Inlockly imports data from:
.inlockly file protected by a separate password.Import is available on every plan, including Free. You’ll find it on the welcome screen after you first sign in (“Already keeping passwords somewhere else?”) and in Settings → Import & export.
Everything happens on your device: the file is read locally, and your data is encrypted before it reaches the cloud.
If your previous password manager exports 2FA keys (for example, a CSV with a TOTP column, .1pux,
or .kdbx), they go into your items along with the passwords. To move codes from an authenticator
app, use the “Move 2FA codes” wizard: an export from Google Authenticator, a file from Aegis,
2FAS, or Ente Auth, or a list of otpauth:// URIs. Inlockly matches the codes to your saved logins
automatically.
2FA codes in items are generated on the Personal plan and up. On the Free plan, you can save the 2FA key - the codes start generating once you upgrade.
